Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Arandu Payments LLC, a New York limited liability company that operates OutlinePay ("OutlinePay", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our websites and our payments API and related services (together, the "Service").

OutlinePay is a business-to-business service. Our direct customers are platforms that use the Service to enable US payment acceptance for their own merchants. This policy covers information we handle as a business, including information about our customers, their personnel, their merchants, and the end customers who transact through the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request access, create an account, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, work email, company, website, the payment processors you use, and the contents of your messages.

Merchant and onboarding information

When you onboard merchants through the Service, we and our payment processors collect information required to open and verify a merchant account, which may include business details, and the names, addresses, dates of birth, government identifiers, and beneficial-ownership information of the individuals associated with a merchant. This information is used for identity verification, underwriting, and fraud prevention.

Transaction information

When a payment, refund, or payout is processed, we handle transaction data such as amounts, currency, timestamps, payment status, descriptions, and, where provided, the customer email associated with a checkout. Full card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are handled by our payment processor, not stored by OutlinePay.

Information collected automatically

When you use our websites or API, we collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, API requests, and similar log data. Our sites use a small number of cookies as described in Section 10.

2. How we use information

  • to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • to enable payment processing, merchant onboarding, identity verification, and fraud and risk prevention;
  • to communicate with you about your account, support requests, and changes to the Service;
  • to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, anti-money-laundering, and payment-network requirements;
  • to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. Payment processing and Stripe

We use Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") to provide payment processing, connected-account onboarding, identity verification, and fraud-prevention services. When you or your merchants use these features, Stripe collects and processes personal and transaction information, both directly and as our service provider. Stripe's handling of that information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We share with Stripe the information necessary to enable and secure these services, including the business and beneficial-owner details submitted during onboarding and transaction data.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Payment processors, including Stripe, to provide the payment services described above;
  • Service providers that host our infrastructure, deliver email, and provide analytics or support, acting on our instructions;
  • Our customers, where the information relates to merchants or transactions they onboard or process through the Service;
  • Legal and safety recipients, where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person;
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

5. Our role as controller and processor

For information about our own customers and our websites, OutlinePay generally acts as a data controller. For much of the merchant and transaction information we handle on behalf of our customers, OutlinePay acts as a processor, processing that information under our customer's instructions and our agreement with them. A data processing addendum is available on request at privacy at outlinepay dot com.

6. International data transfers

OutlinePay operates the Service in the United States, and payment processing is performed in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than those in your location.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes, including complying with legal, tax, accounting, and anti-money-laundering obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Retention periods for onboarding and transaction records may be set by law and by payment-network rules.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and signature verification for webhook delivery. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact us at privacy at outlinepay dot com. Because we often process merchant and transaction information on behalf of our customers, we may direct certain requests to the relevant customer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Cookies

Our websites use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site, remember preferences such as your light or dark theme, maintain sessions, and secure requests. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, for example by posting the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
